Mirtiotissa (Myrtiotissa) is located between the villages of Pelekas and Vatos, in an isolated place on the western coast of the island, about 13km away from Kerkyra town. In Northern Sporades, Velanió is officially part-naturist. To get there, drive 4km south from Skópelos Town to road’s end at cramped, inferior Stáfylos beach, then walk (easily) five minutes east beyond the headland.
Impressive are the rock formations behind the beach. If you’re keen to fling off your bikini, head to the north side along with a whole host of free-spirited funsters.
